About AGLO

AGLOChicago is an all-volunteer lay-led organization. We gather weekly to worship in the Roman Catholic tradition and offer socials, faith-sharing groups, online and in-person retreats, and social  justice projects among other activities.

AGLO has continually ministered to the Catholic LGBTQ+ community from the time of the HIV/AIDS crisis through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. AGLO provides an affirming atmosphere in which to worship in the Catholic tradition, offering opportunities to foster spiritual growth, share our gifts, and witness our Catholic faith to the LGBTQ+ community. It exists as a place for the community to call home, where we can practice our faith as authentic members of the LGBTQ+ community and feel connection without denying who we are.
