Liturgy

AGLOChicago celebrates mass every week at 7:00 PM at our host parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 708 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. It is a welcoming and affirming atmosphere in which to worship in the Catholic tradition. 

AGLO’s masses are presided over by priests from throughout the Chicago area who generously minister to our community. Masses offer beautiful liturgies, music, and our all-volunteer choir.

Each week, we gather as a community to be nourished by the Word and Eucharist, and then commissioned to further God’s reign of justice and compassion on earth. AGLO’s liturgy provides an important and affirming environment where we can practice our faith as authentic members of the LGBTQ+ community and feel connection without denying who we are. It is a safe and sacred space, a faith home for our LGBTQ+ community to gather and grow. We invite you to join us each week for worship during our weekend liturgies.
