Mission in Action

Come put your faith into action by being OUT in the world helping underserved communities we are called by the Gospel to serve. Each month we will work with our partner parishes and other agencies to serve the most vulnerable among us. Can you spare some of your time, treasure and talent with AGLO Outreach?

On Saturday, December 7 and again on January 4 AGLO partnered with Our Lady of Mount Carmel to spend a morning at The Mission of Our Lady of Angels working hard helping to hand out food, clothing, toys and home goods for the community. Although it was cold outside, Sister Stephanie and the Franciscans of the Eucharist at the Mission of our Lady of the Angels warmed our souls. 

AGLO again provided a Hospitality Booth at Northalsted Market Days on August 10-11. Volunteers handed out 1500 bottles of water and snacks to hot and tired eventgoers and provided cool shade for the weary -- including tired puppies. It is exciting to see our mission of accompaniment and discipleship come to fruition in such a meaningful way.
